Particularities

Roland Feller was born in Bern, Switzerland, and studied violin making at the International Violin Making School of Mittenwald, Germany. Subsequently he worked vor Hans Wenger in Biel, Switzerland, Rembert Wurlitzer (Simone Sacconi) in NYC and Frank Passa in San Francisco. In 1977 he opened his own atelier with James Furey. Roland Feller won several certificates and medals at competitions of the Violin Society of America (VSA) and is a member of The American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers and of the Entente Internationale des Maitres Luthiers et Archetiers d'Art.
