Particularities

Once based at Edinburgh Paul Bowers moved to the west coast some years ago and provides expert luthier services from his Oban workshop, where he builds fine new instruments of the violin family as well. Bowers graduated with distinction from the Newark School of Violin Making and gained awards in major violin making competitions. He is one of Britain's most renowned violin makers and restorers, whose violins, violas and cellos are played by advanced and professional musicians across the world.
